Companionship can have huge benefits to the mental and physical health and wellbeing of a person. Social interaction can be an important factor in preventing isolation and loneliness.
At Liaison Care, we recognise the value of having a friendly and trusted companion to talk to. Our homecare support team go beyond helping with daily activities. When it comes to companionship, our carers always aim to put a smile on someone’s face.
Our carers provide you with friendly companionship as we take care of day-to-day tasks you may be finding difficult. We do everything from preparing tasty and nutritious meals to staying on top of the housework for you. We can even do the errands on your behalf like collecting prescriptions or doing the weekly shop. With our dedication to your care, you and your loved ones can rest with complete peace of mind that all your needs are cared for.
We want to help you make the most of life. Our carers are fully trained to support our clients, and we believe that requiring some extra help doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the things you love. Whether it’s keeping active or regaining confidence in going outside the home, we’re with you every step of the way. We also keep activities to suit your needs, understanding that some days outside can mean a nip into the garden or a fun day trip.
Visiting care allows you to have the best of support whilst still maintaining your independence. As part of our services, we endeavour to help you continue to live in the comfort of your own home. That’s why we tailor our visits and level of assistance to suit your needs so you will always be confident at home. Some clients benefit from just a one-hour visit per week, while others might need additional support with several visits per day.
Inviting a stranger into your home to care for you can be a difficult thing. That’s why we focus on being more than just personal assistants and focusing on more than just your physical needs. Your mental health is just as important and we make sure you never feel isolated or alone. We even aim to match all our caregivers and clients so they share interests and personality traits. By doing so, we hope to build genuine friendships of trust and mutual understanding.
We answer the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure you have complete peace of mind.
There are common misconceptions about the outcomes for someone diagnosed with dementia. Many people believe that there are limited options for people with dementia and the only choice is inevitably residential care. However, this isn’t the case.

Studies have shown that quality care-at-home can really impact stabilising the most common dementia symptoms. A healthy diet, suitable exercise, and cognitive stimulation have all been shown to positively impact dementia symptoms. So, we work with our clients to ensure their care plan meets all of these needs.
Our clients can enjoy their normal activities whether that’s a stroll around the garden or trips to coffee mornings at their local church. Our aim is to provide the best possible care whilst also respecting our clients’ personal choices and needs.
Liaison Care understand the difficulties associated with living with dementia and all our carers are trained to help you feel confident at home. More importantly, we can support you or loved ones to remain living independently in the comfort of your own home.
Our trusted team members help to maintain a safe home environment for all clients. This can mean a range of things, depending on each client, including everything from help with homework to complex care. We’ll also advise on any adaptations that will make life easier.
We work with clients and their loved ones to provide personalised care packages that anticipate and meet changing needs. This can mean everything from emotional support to respite care to give family carers a breather. Complex care is also offered when required.
At Liaison Care, we offer a range of flexible services for respite care. We can arrange a one-off visit, or regular visits, to give a family Caregiver a break from their caring responsibilities. Alternatively, we can provide support as and when required.
We support your family caregivers so they can take the time they need away whilst knowing their loved one is fully supported. This can be respite care for an hour or two each week or even live-in care so they can go on holiday. From companionship and meal preparation to full support with more complex care needs, our team members are here to help.
We believe that respite care should cause the least amount of disruption as possible for our clients. Regardless of the duration of the package, or the level of care required, our approach is based entirely on our clients’ usual routines. Our aim is always to make a temporary change in care services as easy for our clients as possible.
We understand that leaving a loved one in the care of others can be difficult. That’s why we arrange, in advance, what level of communication the client’s family would like during our time with them.
This is to ensure that the family is kept well-informed and reassured. In our opinion, respite care services should always allow friends and family to relax in the knowledge that their loved one is in safe hands.
We care for our Clients in the same way we would care for a member of our own family, so you can rest assured that your loved one is receiving the highest standard of care.
As with all new clients, we will come and spend time with them and their family in their home setting. This way we get to know every client as an individual and can observe and learn their day-to-day routines.
The benefits of choosing overnight care will depend on your specific needs and preferences. Liaison Care work with our Clients and their families to create personalised homecare plans to help get the most out of our quality care services.
Here are just some of the ways you can benefit from overnight care:
We at Liaison Care understand that it’s important to feel safe and supported whether it’s night or day. Our dedicated overnight team are carefully matched to an individual for consistency of care.
We invest heavily in a wide range of staff training and education, and pride ourselves on being able to offer specialised support to our Clients.
Sleeping night care is perfect for those seeking the reassurance of having a carer available through the night, even if assistance is not required. One of our carers will stay in your home, sleeping in their own separate room, and can assist during the night if required.
Our waking night service means that our carer is awake throughout the night, supporting with whatever needs you may have. This may be changing position in bed, assisting with night-time medication, or simply keeping you company if you find it hard to sleep.
Please note that if you need more support, with multiple wakeups during the night or longer periods of being awake, a waking service may be a more suitable care package. If you’re unsure or would like to talk, please just get in touch for homecare tailored to your needs.
Our carers are here to provide you with personalised homecare plans and friendly companionship. Just get in touch to discuss your needs and we’ll be happy to support you.
Our aim to improve services means that we will not only learn from where we need to make changes for the better, but we will also learn from what we do well.
Positive Feedback is always appreciated, and in most cases will be made public to our staff members to enable us to congratulate the team or even the individual.
Complaints will be acknowledged and can be made verbally or in writing. We will give an approximate time frame in which we would expect the complaint to be concluded. The complaint will be fully investigated and the result will be discussed with who it may concern and include lessons learnt. If a complaint is going to take longer to investigate than originally anticipated, you will be informed and given a new expected completion date. We will also inform the complainant by letter or email.
Please leave your feedback using the details below by either phone, email or letter, thank you.
